A driver from the NASCAR modified ranks may get his chance at running a full truck season in 2021.

Today On Point Motorsports announced that their primary sponsor from last year will be returning to sponsor their truck full-time for the 2021 season. The sponsor is the North American Motor Car company. This company is based out of New York and they have an extensive vehicle inventory and provide automotive services.

The driver for this car may be a surprise to casual fans but to the eagle-eyed fans out there you may have noticed this driver driving this car during the final ten races last year. 32-year-old Danny Bohn will be behind the wheel of this truck at least for one confirmed race at Daytona. Although there are rumours that if this team can get some more funding they will run full-time.

For fans unfamiliar with Danny Bohn, he was a long-time competitor of the Whelen Southern Modified Tour where he raced for five years and recorded a best finish of second in the standings in 2012. Over the last two years, Bohn has made a transition to stock car racing and has made 13 starts in the Camping World Truck Series. All of these stars came with On Point Motorsports. Bohn has two top tens in truck competition and they both came at Martinsville.
